  Joe Zimmerman A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2002, in St. Peter Catholic Church in Portland for Joe Zimmerman, who died Dec. 14 at age 82. Recitation of the rosary will precede the Mass at 9:30 a.m. Mr. Zimmerman was born April 14, 1920, in Portland. He graduated from Milwaukie High School and served in the Army Air Corps in England during World War II. He owned Ames Auto Service for 50 years. In 1945, he married Lucille P. Susbauer. Survivors include his wife; daughter, Janet A. Isfeld; son, Wayne A.; brothers, Herman, Vincent and Delbert; sister, Sister Irene; and three grandchildren. Remembrances to Willamette Falls Hospice.
