    • Carl D. “Dave” Sanders, 73, of Derby, Kansas, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017, at St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

      Dave was born March 19, 1944, in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming, a son of the late Marvin and Lorene (Brinkman) Sanders.

      Dave enlisted in the United States Air Force, and was stationed at Aviano AFB in Italy, where he met his wife, Angela.

      He worked in finance with Boeing for 33 years. He enjoyed raising Black Angus cattle, traveling, watching his grandchildren playing sports and drama/choir.

      Dave is survived by three children, Diona Sanders, Robin (Dalonda) Sanders, and Tyler Sanders, all of Derby, KS; five siblings, Linda Henderson, Tim Sanders, Dennis Sanders, Susan Lauer and Therese McKinnon; and three grandchildren, Caleb, Hannah and Ethan.

      He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Angela Sanders; and sister, Barbara Selk.
