- Sharon Sundberg Menting, 72, passed away April 25, 2011. Sharon was born on May 17, 1938 in Maiden Rock, Wisconsin to the late Bernard Glenn Sundberg and Margaret Bengston Sundberg. She worked for more than 17 years as cafeteria manager at Square D.
Surviving: husband, Donald Glenn Menting; daughter, Jill Susanne O'Keefe-Blair and husband, Steven of Knightdale; son, Kevin Bernard O'Keefe of New Orleans, LA; sisters, Shirley Seifert of Pepin, WI, Mary Krogstad of Plum City, WI; brothers, Wayne Sundberg of Morganton, David Sundberg of Maiden Rock, WI; eight cherished grandchildren; 16 cherished great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Edward O'Keefe and a daughter, Rebecca Ann O'Keefe.
A private service will be held by Sharon's family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to SPCA of Wake County, 200 Petfinder Lane, Raleigh, NC 27603.
