    • Kaukauna Young Man Is Killed At Marion
      Joseph Jaeger, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Jaeger, Kaukauna, was killed instantly, and Walter Warner, Appleton, suffered a broken leg, at Marlon Friday morning when a sewer in which they were working caved in. The men were employed by the R. J. Wilson Co. of Appleton.
      Three men were In the sewer, which bad been dug to a depth of seven feet by a machine, strengthening the walls of earth in order to dig deeper, when the banks collapsed, covering the workmen with earth. Jaeger was covered to his waist but was crushed to death. Warner was covered until only his right arm showed but he escaped with a broken leg while the third man in the party escaped injury. Warner was brought to the hospital here.
      Jaeger's body was taken to Kaukauna for burial. Funeral services will be held in Holy Cross church at 9 o'clock Monday morning, The young man is survived by his parents, two sisters, Frances and Mary, and by six brothers, Peter, Henry, Gilbert, Aloysius, Clarence and John.
