Notes - August Knoespel, 74, a retired farmer, died Sunday evening at his home in Forest Junction following a lingering illness. Services will be held Wednesday at the Evangelical and United Brethren church, Forest Junction, with the Rev. Merlin Wandrey officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Born in Hollandtown in 1878, Mr. Knoespel married the former Huldina Schubring in 1906 in Forest Junction. The couple farmed near Hollandtown until 13 years ago when they retired and moved into the village of Forest Junction.
Surviving are the wife; one son, Eldred of Forest Junction; two daughters, Mrs. Bernard Kamke of Kaukauna and Mrs. Carl Schreiber of West De Pere; one sister, Mrs. Herman Bloy of Forest Junction, and nine grandchildren.
