      Monday, August 25, 1969

      Edward J. Wittmann 217 E. 8th. St. Kaukauna

      Age 71, passed away at 10 p.m. last evening at his home after a long illness. He was born April 14, 1896 in the Town of Harrison, Calumet County and worked at Combined Locks Paper Co. from 1947 until his retirement in 1963 and lived in Kaukauna since 1947.

      He is survived by his wife, Agnes; tghree sons, Robert, Rt. 1, Hilbert; Roland, Kaukauna; Ronald, Menasha; four brothers, Hermar, Rt. 4, Appleton; Ted, Kaukaunal Tony, Marshfield; Raymond, Rt. 3, Kaukauna; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Geiger, Dorchester; Mrs. Harold [Regina] Fahrbach, Menasha; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

      Funeral services will be held Wednesday from St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, with the Rev. Charles Fredrichs officiating. Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Tuesday and a wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
