    • EAU CLAIRE — Roger K. Gindt, 59, of 10206 165th St., Chippewa Falls, town of Anson, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire.

      He was born March 11, 1950, in Boyd, the son of Wenzel and Marion (Ryba) Gindt.

      Roger married Claudia Dachel on Sept. 3, 1983, at St. John’s Catholic Church in the town of Cooks Valley.

      He had worked at the Northern Center for the Developmentally Disabled and the Chippewa County Health Care System. He was a member of Notre Dame Church.

      He loved hunting and fishing and going to his best friend John’s cabin.

      Roger is survived by: his wife Claudia; three children, Ashley Gindt of Madison, Matthew Gindt of Chippewa Falls and Holly Gindt of Idaho; his mother Marion Gindt of Boyd; two brothers, James (Sue) Gindt of Cadott and Duane (Jill) Gindt of Boyd; and two sisters, Diane Luke of Boyd and Judy Raether of Conrath.

      He was preceded in death by: his father Wenzel Gindt and one sister, Carol.

      Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 at Notre Dame Church, Chippewa Falls. Rev. Brian J. Jazdzewski will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, town of Tilden. Military rites will be conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council.

      Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services Saturday, Sept. 26 at Notre Dame Church, Chippewa Falls.
