- Don Brouillard, 77, Leonard, ND died on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014 at Essentia Health, Fargo, ND.
Donald was born Dec. 31, 1936 in Crookston, MN to Vital and Florence (St. Marie) Brouillard. He graduated from Crookston High School and enlisted in the US Navy where he served as an atomic vet. Don married Patricia Ososki on June 17, 1961 at Stephen, MN. They made their home in Crookston. He worked at American Crystal in Drayton, ND and then operated Custom Welding in Crookston. They moved to Staples, MN where he attended vocational school for tool design. In 1976, the family moved to West Fargo. Don worked at Steiger Tractor in Fargo as a senior tool designer and later at Applied Engineering in West Fargo until retiring in 1991. They moved to Leonard in 2004.
Family was Don's first priority. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing, camping and photography.
Don is survived by his wife, Pat; daughter, Beth Brouillard; son, Bill; one granddaughter; siblings, Dick, Jim, Bob, Chuck, Lloyd, John, Mike, Dan, Sister Rosemarie Brouillard, Cathy Brouillard, Mary McDonald and Mandy Parks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, aunts and uncles.
Visitation: Monday, Feb. 3, 2014 from 6 to 7 PM at rosary service at 7 PM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo.
Funeral Mass: Tuesday at 10:30 AM at St. Maurice's Catholic Church, Kindred, ND.
Interment: St. Edward's Cemetery, Drayton.
