Michael “Mike” Raymond Weber Sr., 75, De Pere, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024. He was born October 21, 1948, in Kaukauna, WI to Michael Joseph and Mildred “Mona” E. (Auer) Weber.

Mike grew up in Kaukauna and graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1967. He enlisted in the U.S. Airforce after graduation and spent a total of eight years serving. Mike was stationed at Beale Base in California and while stationed there he met Ada Hobbs. They married on February 20, 1971, at St. Thomas Church in Oroville, CA. Together they raised their family of two biological children, three adopted children, and several foster children. Mike accepted anyone and everyone for who they were. He was selfless, putting everyone before himself, especially family. Mike valued time with his family above all else.

After his time in the Airforce, Mike began working with computers at Sun Electric. In 1977, Mike and his family moved back to Wisconsin to be closer to his parents. He then worked for Fort Howard Paper Mill as a programmer and later for Terex Corp and Northwest Engineering. In 2011 he retired from his job with the Oneida Gaming Department where he had loved working with the Tribe for 17 years. Mike enjoyed visiting California, bowling and cribbage. He joined many cribbage tournaments in De Pere and was in a variety of bowling leagues. Mike had a talent for woodworking and loved to remodel his home. He enjoyed researching family genealogy. Mike loved to cook and bake. His favorite recipes were always traditional family recipes which he loved to pass on to future generations.

He is survived by his wife, Ada; children, Angela (Marcos Pedroso) Schuchart, Michael (Michelle Docchio) Weber, Jonathan Weber, James (Pearly) Pamonicutt, Alyssa Webster; grandchildren, Alex Schuchart, Kelsey Schuchart, Samantha Weber, Cassidy Weber; siblings, William Weber, Judith Weber, Kathy Vandeyacht; siblings-in-law, Faye (Marion) Clymer, Joanne Heddens, Roy (Rita) Hobbs, Lila (Don) Bloemer, Pattie (Alan) Manes.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Mildred; sister, Mary Ann Moringello; son-in-law, Jesse Schuchart; parents-in-law, Roy and Samantha Hobbs; brother-in-law, Bobby Hobbs.

Per Mike’s wishes no formal services will be held. A celebration of life will be held at the De Pere Community Center, 600 Grant St., on Monday, May 27 beginning at 1:00 p.m. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
