    • Collapsing from a heart attack while driving the cows from the stable after the evening’s milking, William Diekvoss, 62, town of Woodville farmer, died suddenly at about 5:20 last Saturday evening. In starting the cows for the pasture, he dropped in the barnyard and was dead when his daughter, Alice, ran to his assistance.

Born at Forest Junction on Nov. 12, 1878, he lived in this community his entire life.

On March 20, 1902 he married Miss Emma Franzke and for a year they resided on what is not the Ferdinand Schwalenberg farm in town Woodville before coming to the farm where death occurred.

The funeral was arranged for Wednesday afternoon, a service at the home preceding the service at the Evangelical church, conducted by the Rev. G. L. Bursack. Burial was in the church cemetery.

The survivors include the widow, one daughter, Alice at home; one son, Clarence, at High Cliff, three sisters, Misses Laura and Ida Diekvoss and Mrs. Ira Loefer, all of Forest Junction; and three brothers, the Rev. B. J. Diekvoss, Ripon; Martin, Forest Junction and the Rev. H. C. Diekvoss, Milwaukee.
