- Mary Ann Leah Enneper, 76 years young, of New Holstein, passed away peacefully at the emergency center of St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.
She was born Mary Ann Leah Hacker on January 8, 1934 to the late Robert & Lydia (Ott) Hacker at the Hacker homestead in Forest Junction.
She graduated from Brillion High School in the Spring of 1952.
On August 7, 1954, Mary Ann was married to Arnold A. Enneper at the United Methodist Church in Brillion. They lived in Fond du Lac for about two years and then moved to Green Bay in 1960.
Mary Ann and Arnold were charter members at Peace United Methodist Church in the early 60's. They lived in Ashwaubenon, where they raised their three children. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and was an active leader in the youth groups. They returned to the Kiel and New Holstein area where Mary Ann continued to stay active in the Methodist Church and participated in other administrative duties, meeting many along the way and growing in God's glory.
She enjoyed spending her summers at the cottage on Loon Lake, playing Dominoes, cards, and board games with friends and family. Mary Ann also took pleasure in selling Avon products, going on trips and visiting with friends. The lives she touched were impacted immediately. Those that met her found a listening ear and a compassionate heart always concerned with other's well being. She was a trustworthy soul, who was able to strike up a conversation with anyone at anytime under any circumstance, and instantly make a new friend. She was the best mother a child could ask for, always giving all she had to make her children's lives better. Best of all, she made sure that there was always food in the refrigerator, and a meal ready to be made, just to make people feel always welcome.
Survivors include her loving husband, Arnold; her children, Elizabeth Enneper of Kenosha, Brian J. (Kelly) Enneper of Perrysburg, OH, Mark (Susan) Enneper of Kiel; four grandchildren, Kara, Kaitlyn, Alejandra, & Travis and a brother, Ross (Arlene) Hacker. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Ruth (Karl) Habeck; and two brothers, Bob and Glenn (Vivian) Hacker.
