      Romenesko, Orrin T. Orrin T. Romenesko, age 87, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2006, at Rennes Health Center following a short illness. Orrin, the son of Walter and Eva (Schmalz) Romenesko was born August 5, 1919, in Kaukauna. On September 11, 1944, Orrin married the former Mildred E. Micke who preceded him in death February 1978. Orrin later married Mildred (Kuehl) Laursen on July 17, 1982. She also preceded him in December 2002. Orrin served in the US Army during World War II. He worked 37 years for Mrs. Karl's Bakery in Green Bay, a division of Interstate Bakeries.

      Orrin is survived by Thomas (Becky) Romenesko, Santee, CA; Bruce (Peggy) Romenesko, Columbia, MY; David(Elizabeth) Romenesko, Midland, MI; Carol (Rev. James) Kuel, Hartland, WI; Peter (Kathy) Romenesko, Denver, CO; and Mary Geiger, Sun Prairie, WI; 14 grandchildren and five great- grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Mildred (Lloyd) Romenesko, of Kaukauna; a brother, Monroe (Lenore) Romenesko, Kaukauna; four sisters: Martha Jacobs, Appleton; Germane St. Arnold, Kaukauna; Marie Powers, Appleton; Francis (Bernie) Hutton, Appleton; and a sister-in-law, Mildred Romenesko, Appleton.

      He is preceded in death by his brothers: Michael, Lloyd, Leon and sister-in-law, Margaret and Mark.

      A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2006, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 312 S. State St., Appleton, with Fr. Michael O'Rourke officiating. Military honors will be performed after the mass. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until the time of service at church. Interment will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Appleton. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to St. Mary's Catholic Church or a charity of your choice.
