  Pierre, Elsie L. "Peg" Elsie L."Peg" Pierre, 87, Appleton, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2009, at Appleton Health Care Center. She was born January 29, 1922, to the late Fredrick and Hanna Anthony in Bear Creek, WI. Elsie married Walter Pierre; he preceded her in death in May 1982. She had been a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church since she was 12 years old. Elise is survived by sister, Ione Blohm, Appleton; brother, Wayne (Jeanne) Anthony, Appleton; niece and nephew, Frank and Frances Papenfuss; and niece, Brenda Blohm. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter; sisters: Rita Seidl, Alice Collar and Luella Bricko; brothers: Aloyisios Anthony and Russell Anthony. A funeral service will be held for Elsie at 6 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2009, at Valley Funeral Home with Fr. Larry Abler officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit the family from 4 - 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in her memory. VALLEY FUNERAL HOME 2211 N.
