Raymond Van Wychen

Age 44, died Friday, August 22, 1997 at his home following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 11, 1953 in Appleton, the son of Richard and Elizabeth [De Bruin] Van Wychen. Ray married Debra Swanningson on August 4, 1973, Ray was owner/operator of Van Wychen Builders. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Debra; his three children, Andrew, Amy, and Brian Van Wychen, all at home; two brothers and sisters in-law, Dave and Mary Van Wychen, Kaukauna; Larry and Bonnie Van Wychen, Kaukauna; four sisters and brothers in-law, Nancy and Tom Durkee, St. Germaine; Darlene and Greg Hoffman, Kaukauna; Linda and Jeff Olson, Kaukauna; Carol and Curt Hoffman, Kaukauna; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The Mass of Resurrection will be at 10 a.m. Monday, August 25, 1997 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with Father Jack Mullarkey officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home, Kaukauna from 4-8:30 p.m. on Sunday and after 8:30 a.m. on Monday until the cortege leaves for the church.
there will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. Sunday. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
