    • Yingling, Hazel (Aft) 1959 Shawano Evening Leader dated 6/4/1959; Woman From Appleton Dies of Injuries An Appleton woman became Shawano county's fifth road fatality of 1959 last night when she died of injuries suffered in a one car accident on the Menominee Indian reservation Sunday evening. The victim was Mrs. Orville Yingling, 44. Mrs. Yingling was a passenger in the 1956 Chevrolet station wagon that struck a tree at 8 p.m. Sunday, eleven miles north of Keshena on highway 55. Orville Yingling, the driver of the car, and three children were also hurt in the mishap, but are reported in satisfactory condition. Mrs. Yingling, died at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the local hospital where she had been confined since the accident. Mrs. Yingling was the former Hazel Alft, daughter of Mrs. Susan Alft, White Lake and the late John Alft, Sr. She was born July 1, 1914 at Shawano. Her home was at Appleton where she had been active in the Christian Mothers, the Home School Association and the VFW Auxillary. She leaves her husband and three children, Cathy, Carl and Timothy. All were in the car together at the time of the accident. The children have been released from the Shawano Municipal Hospital, but Mr. Yingling is still a patient there. She also leaves her mother and her brothers and sisters. In charge of arrangements at Shawano is the Born-Schweers Funeral home. Funeral arrangments are in charge of the Wichmann Funeral home in Appleton. Services will be conducted at St. Theresa Catholic Church in that city at 10 a.m. Saturday. Internment will be in the St. Joseph cemetery.
