    • Rose Goetz (nee Hilger) aged 77, passed away Saturday, Jan. 1st, at her home at Hartford. The Goetz family were former residents of Willow Creek where for many years they operated a tavern.

      Surviving her are her husband, Leonard, and her children: Hattie Witzlib, Herbert, Leo, Anthony; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Sandbrink, and one brother, John Hilger; twenty grand children and one great grand child.

      Funeral services were held at 9:15 a.m. from the Matenaer Funeral home, Hartford, with further services at the St. Killians church at 9:30 a.m. Interment was at the church cemetery.
