- MRS. BOETTCHER PASSES AWAY
Former County Resident Dies at
Son's Home Near Peshtigo
Mrs. Caroline Boettcher, 78, former county resident, died Sunday at the home of her son, August, on a farm near Peshtigo, Marinette County. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Evangelical church in Peshtigo.
Mrs. Boettcher, nee Becker, was born in Germany in 1858 and when a girl of 11 accompanied her her parents to this country. They located on a farm in Rockland. Following her marriage to Carl Boettcher 55 years ago, the couple moved to a farm near Peshtigo. Mr. Boettcher died 30 years ago.
Survivors are 5 daughters: Mrs. Bertha Wagner of Reedsville,; Mrs. Walter Kinast of Berlin; Mrs. Anna Kinast of Milwaukee; Mrs. Lizzie Abel of Milwaukee and Mrs. Rose Kamke of Peshtigo; seven sons: Albert of Milwaukee, Herman of Maple Grove, Robert of Brillion, and Emil, of Berlin; Henry of Appleton and Ferdinand of Oshkosh; two brothers, August Becker of Berlin, William Becker, Reedsville; three sisters, Mrs. William (Bertha)Luebke, Maple Grove, Mrs. William (Lizzie) Buss, Reedsville, Mrs. Gottlieb Gannigan, Coleman, Wisconsin.
Funeral held Wednesday at 1 o'clock from August Boettcher home and 1:30 o'clock at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Grover. Interment will take place in the Grover Cemetery.
