    • James Wallace DeVillers, 80, passed away at home on June 19, in Largo, Fla., after a long illness. He was comforted by his family and Suncoast Hospice on his journey from this life. Jim was a long time resident of Green Bay and Door County. He resided in Florida for the past 14 years. He worked in the trucking industry most of his life, with his career beginning in the U.S. Army in 1954, until his retirement in 1995, as Vice President and Director of Operations at Leicht Industries, Inc. His passion was boating and snowmobiling with his family and friends. He also enjoyed Free Cell, and was an avid reader. Jim was born Dec. 2, 1933, to the late Wallace and Dorothy (Wetak) DeVillers. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

      Jim is survived by his wife, Sharron; sister, Sandra (Larry) Bader; children, Lauren DeVillers, Lisa (Michael) Ragan and Steven (Kathryn) DeVillers; step-children, Brad (Traci) Ponkratz, Christine (Philip) Salmon, Paul (Susan) Ponkratz, Pamela (Kevin) Vincent and Michelle (Adrian) Ponkratz-Goncalvez; two grandsons; ten step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. A Mass and celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted for the American Heart Association and American Lung Association .
