    • Annabella M. Tabbert, 85, Wausau, died Friday, June 14, 2013 at the Homme Home of Wittenberg.

      She was born April 29, 1928 in Little Chute, the daughter of the late Frederick and Magdalen (DeBruin) Brasch.

      On November 27, 1954, Annabella was united in marriage to James C. Tabbert at St. John's Church in Little Chute. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1981.

      Annabella worked at Marathon Electric for many years until her retirement in 1986. She loved her dogs and cat and enjoyed deer and bear hunting. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Wisconsin Badgers and the Green Bay Packers.

      Annabella is survived by her daughter, Star Tabbert, Wausau; sisters, Doris Brasch, Little Chute and Evelyn Slater, Kaukauna and several nieces and nephews.

      In addition to her husband and parents, Annabella was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosemary Bierman and Irene Tabbert and one brother, Arvin Brasch.

      The Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood. Deacon Thomas Hartman will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, township of Almon, Shawano County. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
