    • Willard "Bill" Englebert, 100, Green Bay, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, October 15, 2013, at Anna's House in New Franken. Born July 14, 1913, in Door County, he is the son of the late Jule and Emma (DeDecker) Englebert. Bill is a graduate of Brussels High School. On October 8, 1935, he married Violet "Vi" Hendricks. When Vi passed away on July 8, 1995, Bill was greatly saddened to not only lose his soul mate but also his dance partner. Bill was employed for 30 years at Proctor & Gamble, retiring in 1978. While at the mill, he proudly served in numerous offices within Union Local 65, including president. Bill was a long time, active member of Saints Peter and Paul Church, including server for both weekly and funeral masses. He enjoyed his time driving for Meals on Wheels and working at St. Vincent de Paul. Bill will be remembered for his love of fishing, playing cards and cribbage. He especially loved hunting in the fall with his son, Willie.Bill is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Margie Englebert of Green Bay and their children, Jeff (Meredith), Steve (Virginia), and Laura (Chris) Lowe; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Jerry Albers of Wausau and their children, Angela (Bob) Cleary, Jim (Mindi), Mindy (Patrick) France, and Andrea (Fred) Sarther; and Terri and Bill Ritchay of Green Bay and their children, Aaron (Jackie), Ryan and Alex; one daughter-in-law, Bonnie Englebert of Green Bay and her children, Dean (JoAnne), Jay, and Kelly (Dani); numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Vi; one son, Willard, Jr.; one brother, Walter Englebert; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Entombment in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
