    • Wayne C. Staeven, age 78, of De Pere, lost his struggle with Pulmonary and Arthritic Lung Disease on Monday evening at a local hospital, with his family by his side. The son of the late Walter and Gladys (Bracker) Staeven was born on May 7, 1936. Due to complications during his birth, Gladys sadly passed away, but Wayne was blessed to have a wonderful mother figure in Erma (Bracker), who his father married in 1938. On September 20, 1962 he married the former Enola Kamke. Wayne proudly served in the US Army from 1956-1958. A farmer all of his life in the Town of Lawrence, he was also a bee keeper for many years. Wayne is survived by his wife, Enola; two daughters, Wendy (Mike) Koltz, and Gail (Mike) Cashman; four special granddaughters, Heather Koltz (fiancĂ© Brennan Tahtinen), Becky Koltz (special friend Stefan Chitko), Felicia Cashman, and Selena Cashman; Wayne is further survived by three brothers, Ralph (Enola) Staeven, De Pere, Roger Staeven, De Pere, Thomas (Ann) Staeven, Seymour; his aunt, Ruth Staeven; in-laws, Dick and Sharon Perock, Green Bay, Jim and Lorna Dorn, Appleton, Dave and Ardyce Buss, Appleton; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; aunts, uncles, and three nephews also preceded Wayne. Wayne's first love was always his wife and his loving family.Dad and Pa Pa we love you. You will be greatly missed forever. Family and friends may call at St. John Lutheran Church, 1700 Lost Dauphin Drive, De Pere from 9:00am until 11:00am on Friday, March 27, 2015. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am. Burial in Lawrence Cemetery.
