    • Rita M Olbrantz, 75, Allouez, passed away June 10, 2014 at Rennes with her family at her side after a 16 year battle with breast cancer. She was born September 7, 1938, the youngest daughter of the late Albert & Margaret (Heyrman) Nackers. On July 22, 1961 she married the love of her life, Charles Olbrantz at St. Boniface Church in De Pere. They celebrated 45 years of marriage until he passed away February, 2006.

      She was a 1956 graduate of St. Joseph's Academy. After graduation she worked for the former Bank of West De Pere, Riggs Nat'l Bank Washington, D.C. & West Bank & Trust, Green Bay. She joined Associated Bank-Green Bay in 1979 & worked until her retirement after 39 years in the banking field.

      Survivors include her three children: Debra (Karl) Meinke, Troy, MI. Peggy & (Lee) Riechers, Green Bay, Scott (Girlfriend Crystal Bohman & daughter Paige) Sheboygan, four grandchildren, Erik & Alex Meinke, Mallory & Ben Timm, whom she loved & was so very proud of; sisters: Arlene Arnold, Green Bay, Luicille VerHaagh, & brother Harold (Judy) Nackers, De Pere; sisters & brother-in law, Monita Nackers, Green Bay, Aura Olbrantz, Orange CA, Gerald (Priscilla) Olbrantz, Green Bay & Norbert (Jan) Olbrantz, Bonita CA, special nieces, nephews & friends.

      She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, brother Roland Nackers, sisters & brothers-in-law, Robert Arnold, Joseph Ver Haagh, Pat (Joe) Hendricks, Julius (Hilda) Olbrantz, Norm (Renee) Olbrantz, & Bea (Jerome) Wellens.

      She was a member of Resurrection Parish, The Catholic Society of Foresters, Red Hat Society, & Brown County Homemakers for Charity.

      Visitation will be Friday, June 13, at Resurrection Catholic Parish, 333 Hilltop Dr., Allouez from 12 noon until 1:45pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00pm Friday with Bishop Robert Morneau officiating. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Rita's name.

      The family would like to send a special thank you to all her good friends for their fun times, caring thoughts & prayers. Thanks also to St. Vincent's Oncology, Dr. Gerald Bayer, Dr. Burnette & Aurora Medical Group, Dr. Leah Nitki, Dr. M Rahman, Dr. Scott Westlow and Dr. Mike Tressler, as well as all the nurses and staff of Unity Hospice and Rennes Health and Rehab for their kind care through her illness.
