- KENNETH W. BERMAN
Kenneth W. Berman, 68, of 1054 Marinette Avenue, Marinette, passed away unexpectedly on Friday afternoon, April 13, 2007. He was born March 30, 1939, in Menominee, to the late Curtis Wendell Berman and Mildred (Carviou) Berman.
He spent his early years in Marinette, and was a graduate of Marinette High School, Class of 1958. After graduation, he entered the United States Air Force, serving his country for 12 years of active duty. Returning to this area, Ken began employment with Badger Paper Mills of Peshtigo in 1972. He retired with over thirty years at Badger.
Ken is survived by a very special companion, Barb Gorka of Menominee; two sons: Bruce (Annette) Berman of Marinette, and Christopher (Tracy) Berman of McAllister; six grandchildren: Heath Berman, Erika, Ashley and Shawn Berman, and Jennifer and Kristen Irwin; nine brothers and sisters: Mary (Howard) Lock of Peshtigo, Judy (Pierre) LeSage of Grafton, Wis., Howard (Debra) Berman of Iowa, Deanna (Dan) Meyers of Texas, Sue (Dan) LaPlant of Alaska, Richard (Marge) Berman, Steve (Sherry) Berman and Virginia (Jim) Belonga, all of Marinette, and John (Donna) Berman of Peshtigo; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at HANSEN-ONION-MARTELL FUNERAL HOME, Marinette, after 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday evening in the funeral home. Deacon Jerome Thetreau will officiate.
Burial with military honors will be in Riverside Cemetery, Peshtigo.
