      Pingel, Duaine E. Duaine E. Pingel, 69, Clintonville, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. Duaine was born March 28, 1938, in New London, son of the late Harold and Ada (Gutt) Pingel. He was united in marriage to Irene Blank on June 6, 1977. Duaine was a resident of Clintonville and New London most of his life. He worked at F.W.D. in Clintonville for many years until his retirement. He served his country in the United States Air Force from Aug. 1, 1955, through Feb. 7, 1959, where he was a senior gas generating plant operator.

      Duaine is survived by his wife, Irene; his daughters, Tina (Jamie) Smythe, Rochester, Ind.; Laura (Mark) Pettit, Oconto, and Candy (Michael) Adams, Clintonville; sons, Edward (Bell) Pingel, Arkansas City, Kansas; Eugene Pingel, Little Chute; Duaine II (Joey) Pingel, Shiocton, and Leroy (fiancee, Bobbi Hoefs) Pingel, Clintonville. He is further survived by his brother, Donald, Lansing, Mich., and 11 grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his daughter, Christina; son, Elvis and brother, Dilton.

      The funeral service for Duaine will be held at the Cline and Hanson Funeral Home in New London on Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dan Casper officiating. Visitation for Duaine will be held on Monday from noon until the time of service. Military Rites will be held at Floral Hill Cemetery.
