    • Jean A. Aerts, 83, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2014. She was born in Green Bay on August 24, 1930, the only child of the late Elmer B. and Angeline E. (Van Bogaert) Aerts.

      Jean attended St. Willebrord Catholic Grade School, Washington Junior High and graduated from East High School in 1949. She was a member of St. Willebrord's Parish. She had been employed as a secretary for National Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Co., as a cashier and receptionist for Rock Finance Co., and as a cashier at the old Orpheum Theatre. Jean enjoyed her hobbies of visiting antiques malls, attending antiques shows, flea markets, and reading and studying about antiques and collectables.

      She is survived by many cousins, including a special cousin, Linda VandeHei; and very special friends, Arland and Marian Klimek.

      Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. Visitation will continue from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Willebrord Catholic Church, 209 S. Adams St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church with Fr. Andrew Cribben, O.Praem. officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
