    • Edward J. Bohman, age 91 of Hortonville, died peacefully at his home with family by his side of natural causes.

Ed was born on August 11, 1922, in the same house he passed in, the son of Anton and Regina (Pritzl) Bohman. After growing up on the family farm, Ed traveled the country working numerous jobs including picking apples in Washington State, sawing logs in Oregon, bartending in Montana, and working with threshing crews in South Dakota. Upon his return home, Ed owned a milk route while working the family farm in the Township of Ellington. On September 1, 1956, Ed married Margaret Boivin at St. Anthony's Church in Neopit, Wisconsin. Following their marriage, Ed and Margaret moved to Kuna, Idaho where Ed worked as a hired hand at Ida-Crest Farm for five years before moving back home to run the family farm. Throughout the years Ed was a gravedigger for local cemeteries and sold his apples, jellies and Margaret's pies in Black Creek. He officially retired from farming at the age of 90.

Ed enjoyed fishing, trapping, hunting, yearly trips west, spending time with his family, and most of all, watching the kids play at the pond. Ed was a man of great faith. He was a member of The Knights of Columbus, enjoyed attending daily Mass at all the local churches and was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London.

Ed is survived by his children: Helen (Les) Van Ornum, William (Emily) Bohman, Thomas (Sue) Bohman, Jane (Roger) Reiland, Charles (friend Julia) Bohman, Leonard (Sara) Bohman, Regina (Mike) Olk, and Joan (Chad) Capelle; grandchildren, Patrick (Chrissy) O'Connell, Jake and Mitch Van Ornum, Katrina, Claire, and Emma Bohman, Tiffany (Kevin) Kicherer, Mandy (friend Greg) Bohman, and Jerica Bohman, Jessica (Torry) Kadlec, Justin (friend Christy) Reiland, Nick and Allison Reiland, Breanna Priest, Mathew, Nathan and Benjamin Bohman, Michael and Gretta Olk, and Samuel and Elise Capelle; great-grandchildren, Lilliana, Analiese, and Penelope Kicherer, Devin, Declan and Cora Kadlec; brother, Anthony (Marilyn) Bohman; and sister, Therese Corr. Ed is further survived by in-laws, Grace Bohman, Chantel Zipperer, Rose (Alfred) Waubanascum, Edith LeRoy, Phyllis (John) Nahwahquaw, Judy Boivin, William (Janice) Boivin, Dorla Boivin, and Kathy Bovin. Ed is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Joseph Irudamoney officiating.
