  Obit. Kaukuana Times 1-27-1911 Mrs. Mary Kempen, a lifelong resident of Holand, died at her home Friday after a short illnes s. Deceased was 52 years old and leaves to morn her untimely demise nine children who feel disconsolate over their loss. The blow is a heavy one to them owing to the fact that their fath er died less than two weeks ago. She was a member of the Christian Mothers society who atte nded the funeral in body. The funeral was held from St. Francis Catholic church. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the sorrowing family in the hour of their bereavement.
