    • H. Phyllis "Peggy" Vanden Plas, 92, Suamico, died Tuesday April 5, 2005, at her residence following a lengthy illness. Peggy was born May 5, 1912, the daughter of the late Thomas and Helen (Dennison) Mason. On May 11, 1932, she united in marriage to Bernard C. Vanden Plas in Green Bay. He preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 1981..


      Survivors include one daughter, Jean (Carl) Chapman, Lac Du Flambeau; two sons, Bernard W. (Mary) Vanden Plas, Shawano; and Richard (Marlene) Vanden Plas, Sobieski; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Kenneth Mason of Green Bay..


      Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one son, William..
