Janice M. Beyer - Kaukauna - Age 87, died peacefully at St. Paul Elder Services on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022. She was born in Bay Settlement on July 6, 1935, to the late Wilbert and Cecelia (Champeau) Grall. At the age of 6 she lost her mother and gained a stepmother, Eleanor Grall.

Janice married Edmund L. Beyer, Jr. on July 4, 1953, at Sacred Heart Parish in Spruce, Wis. He preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 2001. Janice enjoyed spending time up north, volunteering at St. Vincent DePaul, the Milwaukee Brewers, and polka music. To her family and friends delight she wasn’t afraid of showing her silly side. More than anything Janice loved her family. Her eldest granddaughter Terri speaks for us all, “I never left her presence or ended a phone call with her or listened to a voicemail from her that didn’t end with I love you.” We love you too, Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma.
Janice is survived by her children: Douglas (Cynthia) Beyer, Menasha; Robert (Sandra Bonk) Beyer, Seymour; James Beyer, Sherwood; and Debra (Thomas) Giese, Green Bay; grandchildren: Theresa (Jordan) Rankl, Nathan (Holly) Beyer, and Stephanie (Elliot) Rhode; great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Rosalie, Lucas, and Tucker Rankl; siblings: Karen, James, Robert (Claire) and Kathy Grall and Cynthia (Robert) Stafford; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Melvin Deprey, Janice Grall, Allan Roberts, Jane LeRoy, Peter (Barbara) Beyer, Marcy Meulemans, Jackie Jones, Agnes Karner, Edward (Judy) Beyer, Charles (Rosemary) Beyer, Cathy Erdmann, and Doris Beyer; and good friend: Audrey Diermeier.
She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents and husband: Edmund, Janice was preceded in death by her grandson: Samuel Beyer; siblings: Gerry Deprey, Joan (Merlin) Ebeling, Gordon Grall, Mike Grall, Mary Roberts, and Ron LeRoy; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Arthur Meulemans, Bill Jones, Robert Karner, Roger Erdmann, Albert Beyer, Joyce (Bernard) Van Roy, and Alex (Judy) Beyer; and good friend: Wally Steffens.
