- June Mary Weber
June Weber, age 84, of Stockbridge, passed away on Tuesday, January 06, 2015. June was born on June, 1, 1930 to the late Earl and Josephine (Van Holst) Alger. She married the late John Weber, Sr. on June 10, 1948. June loved bird watching, gardening, playing 500 rummy, and trying her luck at the slot machines in Carter. Every Christmas she would make candy to hand out to family members and friends, which was always a treat. The biggest joy in June's life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. June was a faithful member of Christ the King Lutheran Church for many years.
June is survived by her children: John (fiancé, Sherry Kutchenriter) Weber, Mike "Rocko" (Jolene) Weber, Alan (Sue) Weber, Tammy (Mark) Johnson, Kevin (Kristy) Weber, Joe (Carrie) Weber; grandchildren: Val (fiancé, Jason Wallace), John, Jodi, Cory, Wendy and Robbie Weber; Amy (Eric) Schalk; Jamie (Eric) Plate and Chad (fiancé, Megan Tynan) Weber; Amber and Megan Ruffing; and Kiara Weber; eight great grandchildren; brothers: John (Mary) Alger and Ronnie (Dot) Alger; and sisters Pat (Les) Winius and Carol Elmergreen; daughter-in-law Lollie Weber; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, daughter Cheri, and many other family members.
Memorial services for June will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015, at CHRIST THE KING LUTHERAN CHURCH, Highway 114, Sherwood, with Pastor Doug Holtz officiating. Friends will be received from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place at Portland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established for Christ the King Lutheran Church. Online condolences may be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com.
