- Jean Ann Hermes (Blum), 59, danced her way to heaven peacefully Saturday, April 5th, 2014 with her family by her side. She was born on July 10, 1954 to John and Lillian Hermes. She will be remembered for her laugh, the kindness in her heart and will be missed by many.
Survived by her beloved Chihuahua Polly, daughter Sherry Cherney, son-in-law Barry Cherney, granddaughter Audrey, and grandson Landon (De Pere, WI.) Her twin sister Joan Hermes (Sweet), brother-in-law Barry Sweet (Estes Park, Co.) Sister Jane Hermes (Wagner), (Shelby, NC), brother-in-law Robert Wagner, Sister Judi Hermes (Pekarek) (Green Bay, WI.) Sister-in-laws, Lynn Hermes and Sue Smith (Hermes)
Nieces and Nephews: Todd Langfield, Elizabeth Wagner, Kathryn Wagner, Lillian Wendricks, Lenore Wallace, Lisa Wendricks, Linette Hollandsworth, Harold Hermes, Aaron Hermes, Lillian Wendricks and Holly Smith (Hermes).
In support of life, her body was donated to advance medicine through Science Care, a whole body donor program to honor Jean's wishes. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. She wished it to be a "fun family gathering".
