- Obit. Kaukauna Times 7-7-1995 Elmer H, Rademacher of 321 park St. Kaukauna died Sunday evening, July 2, 1995, at the age o f 86 at Kaukauna Community Hospital following a short illness. He was born August 8, 1908, in Dundas, the Son of the late Peter and Anna (Micke) Rademacher . Elmer worked at Dundas Canning Company and he served in the U.S. Army. After basic trainin g and schooling as a mechanic, his enlistment was interrupted by a deferment for another cann ing season, he went back to his Army commitment. Elmer married Evelyn Hannemann at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Edgar, Wis. on Novemb er 22, 1945. He was a pipfitter at Thilmany Pulp and Paper Company, retiring in 1971. Despit e ups and downs with his health the last 10 years, Mr. Rademacher never complained because h e didn't want to bother anyone; however the exception may have been when the U.S. Army lost h is papers and he had to do basic training over. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church a nd the Thilmany Quarter Century Club. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Evelyn; two sons, Ronald and Karen Rademacher and the ir three children, Melissa, Scott, and mark of Kimberly; and Roger Rademacher of Kaukauna ; a brother and sister-in law, Cliff and Agnes Rademacher of Sherwood; 3 sisters, Loretta Net tekoven and Cleta Van Dyke, both of Kaukauna, and Lillian Eiting of Hollandtown; many niece s and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister in -law Leo and Loretta Rademacher, three br others-in-law, Gordy Nettekoven, Urban Eiting and Al Van Dyke; and a sister-in-law, Rita Rade macher. Funeral services were held at 5p.m. Wednesday, July 5, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kaukaun a, with Rev. Robert Udulutsch officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Melissa Rademacher, Walter Hannemann, Clifford Rademacher, Scott Rademache r and Ann Jury. A memorial fund has been established in his name for St. May's Parish Debt Reduction. The Greenwood-Fargo Funeral Home, Kaukauna assisted the family with the arrangements.
