    • Margaret Wagner, 95 of Marytown, died peacefully Friday morning, March 14, 2014 at her home.

      She was born on January 24, 1919 in St. Joe, WI, daughter of the late Jacob & Margaret (Mueller) Pitzen.

      On June 17, 1940 she married Paul Leo Wagner. He preceded her in death on June 23, 2007.

      Margaret was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Marytown and the Altar & Rosary Society.

      She had worked at Malone Cheese Factory and Tecumseh Products, New Holstein until her retirement.

      She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at Wagner's Northern Paradise in Crivitz. She also like to deer hunt and continue to hunt until three years ago. Margaret loved to play card games of any kind, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed her trips to the casino with friends and was a member of numerous card clubs.

      Survivors include four sons; Paul (Sylvia) of Fond du Lac, James (LuAnn) of Marytown, Bob ( fiance, Peggy Moehn) of Elmwood Beach (Chilton), Tom (Barbara) of Virginia, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, her in-laws, Lydia Schneider, Lillian (Bruno) Kraus, William Stubbe, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

      She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, one son, Donald, grandson, Thomas Adam Wagner, granddaughter, Tracy Wagner, daughters-in-law, Joanne Wagner, Arlis Wagner, four brothers: John, Mike, Hubert & Joseph Pitzen and three sisters; Rose, Sylvina & Marie.

      The funeral Mass for Margaret will be celebrated at 6:00 pm Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, N10232 Highway G, Marytown with Fr. Joseph Coerber officiating.

      Burial will take place in the church cemetery at a later date.

      Family and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 3:00 pm until the time of service.

      In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her name.
