The world lost a great man on Sunday, August 27, 2023, when Robert L Natrop (Bob) passed into the great beyond at the age of 66. Bob was a lover of all things natural. His knowledge of all of God’s creatures was unparalleled. He was an incredible uncle, sharing his enthusiasm for fishing and his love of animals with his nieces and nephews. He was a lifelong outdoorsman; accomplished in hunting, fishing, and trapping. He was especially passionate about muskie, turkey, and whitetail. Bob was a gardener extraordinaire, sharing his harvests with everyone he knew. He had an especially soft spot for children, dogs, and cats. He worked with the DNR to help preserve falcons nesting at Thilmany. He was a great friend to all who knew him. He was a proud military veteran and American. He was a Forward Artillery in the US Army. He was a skilled journeyman electrician by trade.

Bob lived his life on his own terms and was a man of his convictions. Bob was a great friend to all who knew him. He will be dearly missed by his family and his life-long friends and hunting partners: Keith Haen and Tim Giles.

Bob is survived by his sister Diane Natrop and her daughters Kira (Joe) Reagan, Isabelle (fiancé Trae Harviel) Natrop, and his Godbaby Makayla Natrop as well as his sister Linda (Rich) Reyes, their son Marc Reyes (fiancé Lucy Guerts), daughter Alexa Reyes, and son Rich (Sandy) Reyes. He is also survived by his step-son Justin Siegel and his granddaughter Em Krull. He will be missed by his loving partner, Vickie Verstegen. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Louise Natrop, Sr.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held from 4:00- 6:00 PM on August 31, 2023, at Bob’s Inn, 120 E. Third St., Kaukauna. Full Military honors will be presented at 5 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to a humane society of your choice, or by planting a tree in his honor through alivingtribute.org
