    • Sister Florian Gindt, 89, of Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc, died Wednesday night, Feb. 16, at the convent.
      Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Francis Chapel at Holy Family Convent. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Gerald Walker, OFM Cap. and burial will be in the convent cemetery.
      Sister Florian was born Catherine Gindt April 22, 1893, at Teresa, Wis., daughter of the late Peter and Elizabeth Kraemer Gindt. She entered the Order of Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity September, 1913 and professed her vows in 1916. She had worked in the kitchen, garden, laundry and sis (sic) Sisters cafeteria at Holy Family Hospital from 1915 to 1979. She had retired to Holy Family Hospital from 1974 to 1979 and then to Holy Family Convent.
      Survivors include the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, a nephew, Herman Gindt of Boyd, Wis., and five nieces, Mrs. Myrtle Wildenbert and Mrs. Frances Duss of Appleton, Mrs. John Zimmerman of Cabott, Wis., and Sister Marcella Gindt, S.D.S. and Sister Beatrice Gindt, S.D. S. of Milwaukee.
      Friends may call at Holy Family Convent from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Friday. A prayer service will be held in the chapel at 7 p.m. Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
