    • Mathew M. Gindt, 85, Rt. 2. Boyd, died early today at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
      Mr Gindt was born July 1, 1889 at Lomira, Wis. He moved to the Boyd area in 1915 and farmed until retirement in 1961.
      He is survived by five sons, Edward, Chippewa Falls, Robert, Arthur and James, Boyd, Carl, Stanley; five daughters, Mrs John Zimmerman and Mrs Charles Gertheaume, Chippewa Falls, Mrs Harold Eaton, Mauston, Mrs Margaret Snyder, Newberry, Fla., Mrs Harvey Lingen, Stanley; two sisters. Miss Elizabeth Gindt and Sister M. Florian, Manitowoc; 53 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
      Funeral services will be at 10 am Thursday in Sacred Heart Church in Edson with the Rev. Eugene Smith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
      Friends may call at the Plombon Funeral Home in Stanley Wednesday afternoon and evening and Thursday until 9:30 am. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home Wednesday at 8 pm.
