    • William D. "Dan" Demeny, 67, Shawano, died Thursday, February 27, 2014. He was born November 6, 1946, in Green Bay to Jules and Margaret (Terry) Demeny.

      Dan married Mary E. Le Beau on August 4, 1990. He was an avid Packers fan. Dan cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.

      He is survived by his wife, Mary; his children, Dee (Scott) Monigal, Richard (Deb) Race, Annette (Donn) Gable; three sisters, Dorothy Oliver, Sue (John) Paider, Nancy (Al) Vieaux; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Barb Demeny, Flo Demeny, Lloyd Steeno, Skip Overdier; his God-daughter, Dannielle Overdier-Cotton; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

      Dan was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Jim, Jack, Terry, Dave, Dick, Mike, and Larry Demeny, June Paulson, Peggy Dyamond, Bernadine Steeno, and Kitty Overdier.
