    • Murder at Appleton, Wis.
      At Appleton, Wis., the night of the 2d, Peter Armstrong, aged 15, while standing talking with Frank Davis, in front of Davis' house, was shot and killed by Julia Giskie, a woman 28 years of age, housekeeper for Davis' father. The woman makes no explanation of the shooting further than she thought an attempt was made to break into the house.
