- Henrietta J. De Beukelar, 99, formerly of De Pere, passed away with family by her side, on Sunday, January 5, 2014 in Green Bay. She was born on September 3, 1914 in the Town of Rockland to the late Peter and Anna (Geurts) De Beukelar. She was like a second mother to the Wollenberg children. She was a long time member of St. Mary's Church in De Pere where she helped with quilting, couponing, and refunding. She worked at Santa Maria Nursing Home for many years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, playing cards, and cheering on the Packers. She also enjoyed helping and being of service to other people.
She is survived by her sister Frances Wollenberg; nieces: Pat Wery, Judy (Jim) Van Den Heuvel, Kay Loose, Mary (Jerry) Gossen, and Millie Schroeder (special friend Joe Burton); nephews: George (Jean) Wollenberg, and Steve (Charlene) Wollenberg. She is also survived by nieces: Janice (Robert) Pelisek, Carol De Beukelar, Jane (Anthony) Bersch, and Eileen (Gregory) Anderson; nephews: Norbert (Denise) De Beukelar, James De Beukelar, and Peter (Marsha) De Beukelar; nephew-in-law Dan Rose.She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and sister-in-law John (Martha) De Beukelar, a sister Sister Mary Jo (Josephine) De Beukelar; brother-in-law Joseph Wollenberg; nephew-in-law Robert Schroeder, and niece Diane Rose.
Friends and family may visit on WEDNESDAY (TODAY), January 8, 2014 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Community Catholic, 4805 Sportsman Dr, Town of Ledgeview. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Richard Getchel officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
