    • Mrs. Alex Duval of Crookston died last night at the age of 78. She has been a resident of Crookston since childhood.

      Born in Little Chute, Wisconsin on July 8, 1872, she was married to Alex Duval on November 23, 1889, in Crookston. Her husband preceded her in death in 1929, also one daughter Mrs. Amos Jacobson, who died in February 1930.

      Surviving are her children, Mrs. J. M. Skogmo, of Minneapolis, Mrs. Joseph Garry, Euclid, Mrs. Wayne Taber, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, Mrs. E. O. Danielson, Seattle, Washington, and Alexander Duval, Mayme Duval, and Mrs. John Vanselow, all of Crookston.

      Also surviving are two brothers, Charles Brouillard and Delphis Brouillard and 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

      Mrs. Duval was an active member of St. Anne's Parish and the Society of St. Anne and the Maple Leaf club.
