    • Residents' Sister Dies;
      Concelebrated Mass Held Monday
      1979

      Miss Anna Sanderfoot, 82, sister of John Sanderfoot and Mrs. Les (Dora) Schumann of Kaukauna, died at 6:20 p.m. Thursday, September 20, after a short illness.

      She was born July 14, 1897, in Freedom and had made her home with the Joseph H. Rickert family for 52 years. Following their deaths, she made her home with Joe D. Rickert, 936 W. Marquette Street, Appleton. Miss Sanderfoot was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Appleton.

      Survivors besides her brother, John, and sister, Dora, three older brothers, Ted and Clarence, both of Kimberly, and Albert of Fontana, California; and three other sisters, Mrs. Cornelius (Hattie) Sweere and Mrs. Mary Griesbach, both of Appleton, and Mrs. Minnie Van Dera of Stockbridge.

      A concelebrated mass was held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Pius X Catholic Church with the Rev. David Barrett, the Rev. William Rickert, and the Rev. Richard Keller officiating. Burial was in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Freedom.

      Pallbearers were Richard D., Roy E., Bob, Joseph D., Tom and Joseph E. Rickert. The Brettschneider-Trettin Funeral Home, Appleton was in charge of arrangements.
