    • Lucile L. Schwerbel, AppletonAge 80, died Monday, September 4, 2000, at Appleton Medical Center. Lucile was born November 12, 1919, in Denmark, Wisconsin, daughter of the la te Henry and Elise (Jensen) Johnson. She married Leland Schwerbel on Ju ly 17, 1947, at First English Lutheran Church in Appleton. Lucile was empl oyed at the Outagamie County Health Center, working in the dietary departm ent for 10 years, until her retirement in 1975. She loved to read, and watch birds and animals playing the yard, but she especially loved her daught er's cats. Lucile loved to talk, and would speak to anyone. Lucile is survived by her daughter, Susan Schwerbel, Appleton; a son, Steven (Lauerel) Schwerbel, Larsen, Wisconsin; two grandchildren, Lisa and Jamie Schwerbel; a brother-in-law, Russell "Jack" Schwerbell and his children, Cheryl Ro che and Jackie Munger; a sister-in-law, Blanche Meredith; a step-grandson, Jason Bleick; three nephews, Robert (Karalyn) Johnson, Colorado; Ern ie Johnson, Florida; and L. Kent (Irene) Schwerbel; and a niece, Barbara ( Ray) Schwahn, Cato, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her husband Le land; three brothers, Elmer, Louis and Alfred; and a sister, Marguerite. L ucile's Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Septemb er 8, 2000, at HIGHLAND MEMORIAL PARK, with the Reverend Dennis Ellisen of ficiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 4 p.m. unt il 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2000, and at the cemetery on Friday fr om 9 a.m. until the time of service.
