Notes - Mrs. Leonard Petrie nee Mary Margaret Benzschawel, 63, route 1, Neenah, died at her home at 4 o'clock this morning May 5 following a 6 week illness. She was born at High Cliff, Feb. 10, 1890, a daughter of John and Margaret Heller Benzschawel, and had lived in the area all her life.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 Friday morning May 8 at Sacred Heart Catholic church at Sherwood with burial in the parish cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the Schumaker Funeral home, Stockbridge.
Survivors include her husband; five daughters, Mrs. Bernita Funk, High Cliff, Mrs. Alice Krueger, Sheboygan Falls, Mrs. Dorothy Preader and Mrs. Janet Ferris, both of Wichita, Kan. and Miss Shirley Petrie, at home; four sons, Airman Second Class Anthony Petrie, at an air base in Kansas, Irving, Sheboygan Falls, Harold, Sheboygan, and Paul, at home; three brothers, Cornelius Benzschwal, High Cliff, and John and Henry, both of Sheboygan; two sisters, Rose Schultze, Kohler, and Mrs. Joe Casper, Malone; and 19 grandchildren.
