- Robert ("Bob") was born in the Township of Seymour on a farm on Tubbs Rd.. The family later moved to a farm near Issar. Bob
graduated from the Frank Dorn School and was confirmed at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, WI. He worked as a
cheesemaker at Frazier Corners, Hayes & Duval. Bob and family moved to Milwaukee where they lived for a number of years. Later they moved back to Seymour and took over the family farm near Issar. Bob eventually sold the family r farm and bought a farm near Coleman, where he farmed until retiring in 1988. Then they moved to Oconto Falls, WI.
Bob liked small communities and churches, especially his little house in Oconto Falls and the St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church there.
Bob and Ardis enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. They also liked going out to eat on Sunday and taking a ride in the country. Bob was known for his quick wit and sense of humor.
Bob died on January 24, 2002, from pancreatic cancer. Bob and Ardis are buried at Fort Howard Memorial Park in Green Bay.
Their son, Gary, is buried at the Bohemian National Cemetery in Chicago.
