W. and Phillip Burke, Chicago; and a brother Michael Burke and sister Mrs. Mary Deneen, both of Cedarburg. Those attending the funeral from out of town of the city were Phillip, George and William Burke of Chicago; Michael Burke and daughter, Mayme and Nellie Deneen of Cedarburg; Mrs. Anna Griffin, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Deneen of Cedarburg; Mrs. Anna Griffin, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Deneen, Milwaukee; Charles Raasch of Kewaunee; Mr. and Mrs. Dan Leininger, Mr. Michael Leininger, Mr. and Mrs. Al Van Der Bloomen and Jacob Falck, DePere; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Falck, Brillion; Mr. Mark Falck, Hortonville; Mr. and Mrs. Dan Falck, Lizzie Mochel, George Mochel, Mrs. and Mrs. Fred Mochel, Bernard Neice and Ferdinand Neice of Morrison. Among those in attendance at the last rites were ten who had been Mr. Burke's pupils during the early years when he taught school.
The funeral was held Wednesday morning from St. Mary's church at ten o'clock, Father Steinbrecher officiating, with interment at St. Mary's cemetery.
The pallbearers were Messrs. Henry McDaniels, Joseph Lehrer, William Brill, Michael Abb, Michael Walsh and Bernard Neice.
Many were the beautiful floral pieces laid upon the casket by the relatives and old friends of the deceased, as a last token of esteem and remembrance of one they had all loved for many years.
