Eileen was born in Green Bay on March 28, 1956, to the late Chris and Catherine (Leiterman) Tordeur. After high school, Eileen proudly served her country in the U.S. Army. She then worked for many years at the U.S. Postal Service. Following her work at the Post Office, Eileen went back to school and completed her Masters Degree. Eileen was honored and considered a "local hero" by Outagamie County for her countless hours of volunteer work.

She is survived by her three children: Sarah (special friend Chad Bungert) Schaefer, and their two children Alexis and Wyatt Bungert, Hortonville, Doug (Genifer) Schaefer and their children Aaliyah, Gerald, and Emily of Greenville; and Hope (special friend Josh Frank) Schaefer, and her son Jaxon Theabo, of Oshkosh; three sisters: Jeanie Hlinak, Luxemburg, Virginia (Dale) Frasch, Green Bay, and Christine Hornick, Green Bay; two brothers: Michael (Kathy) Tordeur, Green Bay and Russell (special friend Carla) Tordeur, Green Bay; and her two God Children: April Hornick and Sara Gokey. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in- law Jim Hlinak.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 222 E. Fremont St., Appleton, with Father Brian Wideman officiating. Friends may visit on Tuesday in the Sacred Heart Room at church from 10 am until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff at Cherry Meadows Hospice - especially Paula, for the compassionate care given to Eileen.
