      Age 80, died Thursday morning at his home after a long illness. He was born January 28, 1899 in the Town of Vandenbroek and lived and farmed in the area until his retirement in 1969. Mr. Diedrich was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna. Survivors include his wife, Mercedes (Maguire); a daughter, Mrs. Henry (Mary) Kreutzberg, Rt. 1, Hortonville; four sons: James, Rt. 1, Hortonville, Gary and Roger, both of Rt. 1, Kaukauna; Richard, Green Bay, 11 grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with a concelebrated mass with the Rev. Mike Hoffman and the Rev. Gary Van Dantinne officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at the Greenwood Funeral Home, Kaukauna. There will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. Friday.
