      Age 65, died after an extended illness Tuesday evening. He was born December 4, 1913 in the Town of Kaukauna. Mr. Micke farmed most of his life at Route 2, Kaukauna. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Merry Makers Square Dance Club. Survivors include his wife, Catherine Van Handel Micke; three daughters: Mrs. Virgil (Janet) Vande Hey, Wrightstown; Ms. Mary Kay Micke, Milwaukee; Ms. Luane Micke, Appleton; four sons: Harold and John, both of Route 2, Kaukauna; Norman and Mel, both of Madison; eight grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with the Rev. John Bergstadt officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the Fargo Funeral Home. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
