- My grandma was born on December 19, 1926. She had 12 brothers and sisters. When she was a kid she liked to listen to The Lone Ranger and The Shadow on the radio. She also liked to play baseball and played kick the can. She lived on Vandenbrook Street and their house had three bedrooms for the kids. The house my grandma lives in now was where my grandpa lived when he was a kid. When she was young, there was an ice rink a few houses down from hers. When she went to the ice rink, there
was a boy who would push her down on the ice. That boy ended up being my grandpa. Grandma still can't believe she married that Vosters boy and she still loves him.
