| Photos | Gary L. Kramer Sr. Age 79 Neenah, WI Gary Lee Kramer Sr., age 79, of Neenah, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024 after a four-year battle with cancer. Gary was born in Neenah on August 19, 1944, to Douglas and Millie (Gerard) Kramer. He attended St. Margaret Mary grade school and graduated from Neenah High School with the class of 1963. Gary married his high school sweetheart Beverly Winkelman on August 20, 1966 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Gary worked for the City of Neenah Park and Rec Department as a mechanic, retiring after 32 years of service. After he retired in 2000, he and Bev work as custodians at St. Margaret Mary School until 2008. Following that, he worked at Kessler-Fahrenkrug Funeral Home as a grounds keeper until the time of his death. Gary’s hobbies included building street rods and traveling. He and Bev traveled to most of the 50 states in the U.S. to car shows in their 1936 Chevy Pick-up. He is survived by his wife Bev of 57 ½ years; his children; Gary Jr. (Laurie) Kramer; Peter (Amy) Kramer and their children Peter (Kayla) Kramer and Cassandra (Layne) Hase; and Paul (Kristie) Kramer and their children Justin and Tyler. He is further survived by his brother Tim Kramer and sister Linda (Joe) Rehorst; a sister-in-law Donna (Glenn) Palmbach and many cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by a sister Judy (Francis “Sonny”) Koerner, his baby brother Douglas, granddaughters, Amanda and Katie Kramer and his in-laws, Vernon and Delores Winkelman. Funeral services for Gary will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday February 2, 2024 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division St., Neenah with Fr. Michael Lightner officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Kessler-Fahrenkrug Funeral Home is assisting the family. |
